Empowering Education in Motion

Empowering girls through innovative education, leadership development, and movement-based learning. Our Whole-Bodied Education approach fosters confidence, resilience, and academic success.

What We Do

Empowering girls to succeed academically, lead confidently, live boldly, and thrive physically.

Feminism is at the core of GALS Inc. as the belief in equal rights, physical well-being, and emotional safety for all. We believe that schools are the primary setting for the development and growth of young people today, and therefore schools are the place where change-makers are created. We serve students in our schools no less than seven hours a day, five days a week, and approximately 35 weeks a year. This equals, on average, 1,100 hours. We believe it will take that much investment in our young people in order to push forward the work of gender equity.

We are an organization that creates gender-based schools around the country that teach Whole-Bodied Education, defined by learning and living with our minds, our hearts, and our bodies.

We intentionally create schools that serve students of all backgrounds and consults with organizations that are interested in Whole-Bodied Education and leadership.

Who We Are

At GALS Inc., feminism is defined as advocating for the basic security of girls and women and promoting equal access to financial and political power—principles that are non-gendered and supported by all. Our schools are built on a foundation called “Whole-Bodied Education,” which combines physical movement with a positive gender focus to create an empowering learning environment.

GALS emphasizes personalization, ensuring that every student is known and supported by adults who can tailor learning to their individual strengths. Our schools are intentionally inclusive of diverse backgrounds and identities, fostering a community where students engage in civil discourse and civic engagement. Graduates leave with strong self-awareness, critical thinking, and collaboration skills, prepared to make meaningful, values-driven choices for their futures.
